Nathan Holladay, AMFT
Registered Marriage and Family Therapist
Life is full of big transitions, and big feelings. It is full of moments that throw us for a loop, leaving us unsure of where to go next, how we are “supposed” to feel, or where we can turn to for support. Whether these transitions are starting college, navigating a new marriage, or even deciding to set a boundary; they all have their unique challenges. It can sometimes feel as though we are at the bottom of a well. The ladder to get out of this well may be just out of reach, but therapy can be the step stool we need to start the climb to healing.
My goal is to work beside you in all the valid and unique challenges you may be facing. Providing a space where you can feel safe, secure, and heard is my intention for every session. I work hard to make the process of therapy feel as smooth as possible, and ensure you are comfortable confronting the struggles that you may bring into the room.
I am passionate about normalizing experiences and helping you understand that you are not alone in what you are feeling. It is my aim to partner with the people sitting in front of me to sift through and make meaning of the chaos of life. I will remain mindful of your interests, beliefs, culture, and perspective on life to curate goals that uniquely compliment you as an individual. I primarily utilize strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I look forward to aligning with you and your specific needs to strive towards a healthier, well-adjusted brain. Together, let’s begin your journey of climbing out of the well.
